THE RUNES is a mysterious puzzle, containing 300 interlinked puzzles which gradually reveal an ancient mystery and give you the chance to solve it. The origin of the puzzle is a mystery in itself, but details of what is known and other information (including how to get your copy) can be found on THE RUNES website by clicking the red link at the top of this page.
The Forum provides a free service to solvers of the puzzle by enabling them to check some of their solutions, record and compare their progress, give and receive hints and discuss all aspects of the puzzle.

Thats a question I ask with reservations.
This puzzle is more than the ordinary few moments diversion, its difficult,complicated and infuriating at times, and theres NO prize, so WHY are we doing it?
I think theres a hidden agenda here and I haven't a clue what it is (and no I'm not paranoid)

Actually, Big Brother is monitoring our Pm's. If we solve the Runes we are intelligent beings and can live another day. If not, a bright beam will come down from space, suck us up into a space ship and extraterrestrial life will either implant us with their offspring, or suck out our brains that don't work so well Either way, we loose.

I think that is what happened to me last night then I found myself at the bottom of the stairs in a heap and covered in bruises. I knew it wasn't my slippers.
