The hanged man.......otherwise known as "give someone enough rope".
There seem to be plenty of occasions in The Runes when we can take a simple little and turn it by ourselves into a complicated lot - hanging ourselves in the process!
The Letter Sets are an example (such as B C D E G P ? V). Also, on page 1 there are some credible but unhelpful connections that can be found between "Greek god", Chaucer and the Parthenon.
Have you had occasions when you could have done with a little less rope?

If I had suicidal tendencies I would. I will be forever stuck on that page 7 bottom word. My brain just won't kick into gear on that one. But, I've managed the knots, the beads, the maxes, and the sudoku's to the end.
Some things just work easier in my brain than others. And, having never read Chaucer, I don't get the connection on page 1. I did know who it was though.

I firmly believe the creator of the Runes was a Sadistic man (a woman wouldn't do this to people) Who knew that a little bit of knowledge would get the solvers in a lot of trouble. So you know about the language and how it's evolved SUCKER!!!!
I'd like to get my hands around his little neck and squeeze.
I thought this would be an easy summer diversion! Boy was I wrong!
