Is there anyway to stop the new post symbol from popping up when we log in. I'm refering to the forums we haven't entered yet. There is nothing more depressing than seeing that the forums have posts in them, and not being able to read the posts.

I don't think it hurts to have a little reminder that there are secrets still ahead of us..... it is always such fun to explore the old entries in a new forum when we eventually reach it!
I find the new posts symbol extremely valuable and it also serves as a reminder to revisit old forums and share in the discussions going on there. Otherwise it would be so easy just to live for the present and forget that there are still people further back on the trail needing encouragement. So I wouldn't want to switch it off.
Besides, it is rather intriguing to see that Scurra is obviously talking to himself in the final forum.......wisest of the wise? Or is he now just totally insane?

I have no qualms about seeing old forums (completed ones) and enjoy reading and posting in them. It's just so depressing to see Mr. Smart-mouth so far ahead,
Although, I didn't see the insanity connections. You are quite right. Let him keep talking to himself for a while. Maybe I'll enjoy watching the daily one-sided conversatins.
