Welcome to THE RUNES Forum.
THE RUNES is a mysterious puzzle, containing 300 interlinked puzzles which gradually reveal an ancient mystery and give you the chance to solve it. The origin of the puzzle is a mystery in itself, but details of what is known and other information (including how to get your copy) can be found on THE RUNES website by clicking the red link at the top of this page.
The Forum provides a free service to solvers of the puzzle by enabling them to check some of their solutions, record and compare their progress, give and receive hints and discuss all aspects of the puzzle.

This is one of the recurring puzzles on the pages. Like most of the puzzles here, they get more complex further on. How do you go about solving them? I shade in all the dead ends until a viable path appears.

I photocopied the labrynths, enlarged them to A3 size, gave my 5 year old a crayon and let her loose...Believe it or not, that worked for all of them!

I always work labyrinths backwards from a letter to try ot fnd the entrance. It always seems much quicker.

I started at the entrance, and drew lines for all the possible paths. You soon start to see a pattern
|

I'm shading in the deadends, and drawing the line from the start. I get there eventually! Find it a break from the other more brain-taxing puzzles...
