I tend to do nearly all of a page before letting myself look at the next, although if I get too frustrated with one page I will move on. But I don't let myself work on more than 2 at any one time.
And don't worry about being behind the rest of us - it'll last longer that way. I'm dreading reaching level 26, as I'll have to work on the Meta puzzles, and can't do them at work - so what am I supposed to do then when I should be working????

The only slight advantage to being "behind" is that there are more people "in front" who you can try and persuade to help you.

even if the people "in front" of you (naming no names Scurra) complain when you ask for help as "when they did the puzzles they didn't have anyone to ask" and refuse to give you more than the absolute minimum confirmation of correct answers.

Red fraggle - Just because some of us are working on a high numbered page it doesn't always mean we've finished the ones that came before.
I've only completed page 1 so far and only half of pages 2 and 3. I just decided to answer all the bits I could and then go back 'til hopefully in many years time I might actually complete it
Wish I could say the same about ToB's, number sods, and harbours. And as for Pompeii I cant wait to get rid of him. I might be working on page 25 but I just know the worst is yet to come, so its with trepidation I face the last 2 pages. Then i reckon its back to Page 1.
Well if it is back to P1 I may be able to do that without too much help (yeah I wish). I am having "eureka" moments though so I think the plan is to just spend days at a time in the bath and that way I will be on P26 in no time.

I finally got p24's sumdoko, having done it correctly once,decided it didn't add up,rubbed it out, and needed Gauntlet to tell me that the 18 in the bottom left corner had 4 boxes not the 3 that I was adding up. So I had to do it again.
I think I deserve a medal for that one Thanks Gauntlet

I think making sure you copy all the instructions for the forum down correctly helps a lot..... just wasted 4 days of solid work on the wrong set. Not that I've found the correct answer yet, but just wanted to share my frustration at my own incompetance with you all!

I did once manage to spend two days trying to unscramble the letters for the bottom word on a page before realising I was using the first letter of the colour of the bead from mastermind, instead of the letter it stands for. That was a fun time.
